The level and quality of music in Cuba is high, enjoying so many artists at the Varadero Josone Rumba, Jazz & Son Festival was a true honor and at the same time a pleasure, confessed Spanish tourist Tatiana Melo.

Both for my family and for me, the music in Cuba stands out as one of the best aspects of the Island, it is real and authentic and impresses every time you listen to the different sounds, she said.

Melo, who is on vacation for the first time in the Island, said he hoped the Festival would reach more people because there is a lot of talent, and she added that she felt happy and grateful to have traveled and attended a show in which such good artists participate.

I am in love with the country, the people are very kind despite the fact there are complex situations, there is strength, hope and desire to fight, I feel cared for, said the Barcelona resident.

For Mexican Alba Gallegos, in addition to appreciating the music of the show, observing the dance of Cubans becomes motivation because in her nation there is not such a marked culture on the subject.

Gallegos, a resident of Mexico City, stressed that she was impressed by the way she dances on the island and, together with friends, visits the Varadero Josone Rumba, Jazz & Son Festival to live experiences that music and dance movements will bring her.

The third edition of the Varadero Josone Rumba, Jazz & Son Festival reaches finished on Sunday after enjoying different musical genres for a week with performances by many of the best musicians in the country as well as the participation of important foreign artists.

For its last night at the Festival, the Muñequitos de Matanzas, Rumba Timba, Yuri Buenaventura and his orchestra, the Septeto Santiaguero, Elito Revé and his Charangón, Yarima Blanco and Son Latino, Maykel Blanco and his Salsa Mayor and Los 4, performed in order to provide another luxurious evening in a highly successful night to date.
